If you were posting to me, I was reffering to the Plug and play one.

Can't wait for the EMS. BTW what OBD is our car? OBD2A or B? I really don't want to f**k up my harness for SAFC if I'm going to get the EMS in the next few months, so I htink ill buy a plug and play harness. That way I can pass this stuff down to a local tC guy who is following in my footsteps without too much hassle of undoing it.

~ 1 week til my SP turbo kit in here! AHHHHH I CANT WAIT!!!!

No such thing as OBD2A or B. The honda community uses the A & B because of the changes in the engine/ecu harness.

its not about how much power u can squeeze out of an EMS, its about how efficiently the tune can make the car perform given X conditions/psi. its all in the tune, good tune=good power, fuel efficiency, etc and vice versa.

I would've found out with the s/c for you guys but Toyomoto had my money for like 5 or 6 weeks without a product and no updates for about 4 weeks so I disputed with paypal. I honestly think the ultimate with a good tuner will be all any normal daily driver will need although the AEM would be very nice to have.

interesting - I doubt anything would be better then the actual master ecu making the decisions BUT on the other hand - i wonder how much of a benefit it would be for my specific car.

Using a standalone has many benefits over the control of the car, but it is a HelI of expensive to tune.

I think that the piggyback adapting then the emanage computing it is the best way for the tc.

For a very good tune, I would go with E-manage Ultimate. IF I didn't have the money to go with a Standalone, which I don't have

emanage ultimate> other piggybacks. its real close to being a standalone.

AEM EMS is pretty much full standalone, nothing can beat that. but main difference is better tuning parameters.

standalones cost about the same to tune as piggybacks, it varies depending on ur tuner.
