so the maps i sent to you are helping out pretty good, or just better than before? I was hoping the imadork.fi6 would work really well with you but then again your running a different turbo and all.
ok man wow this is a night and day difference.
no more misfires idles 10 times easier, itll bog out a little when coming to a stop but the slightest tap on the throttle fixes it, thats the 3'' intake for ya.
what psi do you run on this map exactly? i feel it may need to get leaned out a little, im on 9psi now
thanks for this, working off this map is gona make it so much easier to get her at 100%

crap you dont have a wideband.......pleas by all that is holy get a wideband...lol
but yeah deff gata get that mang asap.
anyways it will kinda bog on me if i gun it and come to a quick stop...like when im at the drag strip doing a burnout.
anyways i run about 11-12 psi (depends on temp and if i screw with my boost controller...hahaha) when your at full boost and in a higher rpm say like 4000 it runs roughly 11-12afr but befor you get to full boost it will run pretty rich like 10.2afr.

Just my luck the map was working amazing I wasn't hiring proper boost it was like going to 7 then 9 full boost so I gave a little tweak on the mbc and it ran much better hitting 10 but I wanted it to get to 11 so I Gave it one more tweak and went for a drive to see how that drove and I gave It some gas in 2nd gear and boom boost spike to 25psi it came so quick I couldn't do anything about it, now the motor knocks like crazy a tick tick tick tick at idle wow just when I get the tune better mechanical aspects of my car fail and it was a turbonetics manual boost contr I dono what I'm Gona do.
hey if u need a new block i might be able to help you out homie ^^ sucks though that happend... usually when u get rod knock on a boost spike like that its only a matter of time before something worse happens... is it a hard knock?? or minor?
put your hand on the VC .. yes it will be hot but dont puss out... feel the VC for a tick.. if it there then u have a bent fked valve... get close to the motor as u can... listen.. if the knock is coming from the lower section and is a low pitch knock.. then its ur block.. it should sound like 2 rocks hitting each other under water.. the head will be a high pitch knock and sound like a pen taping a chalk board..
Okill check it out when I get a chance, I just went out with my brother get it off my mind I gota get off the iPhone clear my mind lol I'll mAke a video so u can see what it sounds like thx for the info pete

crap crap crap, im sorry to hear it, the worst spike iv had was 17psi when i forgot to check my wastgate vac source (huge leak) so i cant imagine what 25psi would be like. the map i sent you is only tuned (roughly) to give extra fuel up to
25psi but its real vague, i never expected to see that high of boost so that part of the map was never really tested. it was only half arsed tuned ther just to pretty much "just in case" something happened.I really doubt the fuel injectors and fuel pressure you have could even give the extra fuel that 25psi would require so i would say you got a bad knock when this happened from lack of fuel. as fare as the mbc sounds like you need to get rid of that thing. again im sorry to hears this, i wish you would have taken it easy and just gotten used to the tune first and gotten your wideband in, but i know how it is. if its the valves then i wouldn't think you detonated, sounds more like it could be a floated valve, fubar'd valve spring, ect. I sure hope its the valve instead, much cheaper fix and easier to deal with imho. good luck mang.

Jesus Crayola... that sucks big time.
I wouldn't have messed with the boost controller until you got a better tune going.
Anyhow that's hindsight for ya.. now just figure out exactly what kind of knock you're getting before going all out on a fully built motor.
