boosted tc compared to other current, OEM cars
uumm i just do 65mph to 70 and stay right at or barely above 3k never had a problem with cruising rpm anyways i got to go for a ride in a is-F that to me is the best thing available to buy from lexus(toyota) big v8 plenty of topend, stupid torque, big brakes, wide tires, gauge cluster, griped the road good for being a huge sedan, and exhaust sounds amazing

Basically, all I'm trying to say, is that no one knows what gearing the tC will have. Everyone who says "omfg 6-speed = win" and has a tC, means they absolutely HATE the gearing in the tC. If the 6-speed is basically the tC 5-speed with an extra over drive, it will still suck. If it's a new 6-speed that's gear aggressively, it will suck. If they can give it taller 1/2/3 and have it cruise at 75MPH@3000 RPM, then it will be good.

This is true. Idk why they put 8 speeds in the damn thing. They should have just stuck a regular, non-flappy paddle 6 speed in it, and it would have been a much better car. Cheaper too.
