Sorry not following you - dont see any of these being very streetable, we're talking about about street tires here Unless you drive slicks on the street, if you do you're hell of a lot braver than I am.

drag radials are good for the street as long as it doesnt rain to much in your area.

You dont realize that traction and street tire do not mix

I do realize that, however, I cant roll around on slicks everywhere I go. I still perfer my car to be a true street car, not a track car. I know 500+whp in a fwd car is never going to hook up well on the street, but going with a good street tire should at least help for having a little fun on the highway

95% of "aggressive" street driving, happens while you are already rolling. Based on that I would disagree with this assessment.

Lets go through this cycle again

On the street I run the tires my car came with from the dealership. They perform just about the same as a drag radial. Unless your going to pull over and heat them up the drag radials are not going to perform well and provide you with the traction you are looking for. Cold drag radials perform just as well as regular street tires. This is a fact and I speak from experience on this one. Slicks cost the same - make the right choice.

Racing from a roll is a joke.. its just for people that dont know how to drive.

If I go out I bring my slicks and a jack.

not tryn to be a dick. but i know the tires that come from factory suck even bigger *****... there is no way that they the same as DR's or a better tire like dunlops... on 8 psi i was spinning 3rd with factory tires. again i barely spun 2nd with my star specs at 12 psi. and when i rocked the DR's on the street didnt spin at all in second and they were "cold"

racing from a roll isnt a joke.. to each his own... i race from a roll and at the track.. i like both ..... i know how to drive.. and honestly i believe just going in a straight line isnt knowing how to driving... thats knowing how to shift.... throw cornering into it, completly diff animal

ima have to agree with you game...mine were for a fact the worst tire i have ever had on my car to date. I had the yoko's when i picked up my car at the dealership (i forget what yoko series it was) and had to get ride of em as soon as i turbocharged my car. 1st-3rd was a wash (8psi roughly 270hp 290tq) not to mention they wore out fairly quick (lasted 6-7 months). I went to cooper zeon zpt (I want to say they are slightly wider than the yoko's were) and 1st-2nd was a wash at the same power level but they have lasted longer than the yoko's. I then got a pair of bfg drag radials to swap out when i go to the track. The main reason I did this was I wanted a tire that would stick better than what I had but still be able to drive home on em. There is no way ima just leave out my street tires at the pits while im waiting in line to run unless i got a friend to watch em. This is Houston after all. BFG drag radials have out performed the yoko's and cooper zeon's on the street as well as the track.....I have vids that prove it. The biggest issue I had was clutch slippage now that the tires would stick. I have a fubar fly wheel and pressure plate to prove that as well.
So to say that bfg drag radials are no better than an average street tire is a fallacy. My experiance with them has shown better performance than the tires I have used in the past for the power level I was at. BFG Drags are prolly not the best tire around, thats not my argument. My argument is they are great in the right conditions, for example some one in the same position as me, A person who wants a stickier compound tire that can be driven on the street.

However I do not race on the street....that part i dont agree with. I have gotten a little froggy on the street but not going to race someone.

btw track prep makes all the diff in the world. Iv had zeons stick fairly well if the track was properly prep'd and i got my runs in early. as the night goes on they will leave me hanging while my drag radials would still stick through out the night.

lol at trd07 saying factory tires are as good as cold drag radials. are you nuts!!! i used to chirp 3rd with those factory tires with 140whp are you serious!! with drag radials i wouldnt even spin 1st. lol oh and rol racing are for drivers that cant drive? wow thats a real ignorant comment. there are thousands of people that do roll racing. people that do roll racing with lets say under 300whp cars might not be able to drive so good but people with high hp cars that roll race does not mean they cant drive at all. and like i said before anything under atleast 200treadwear should be good for the streets. no you wont get the best traction but it will be a hell of alot better then 400 treadwear tires and so on. and drag radials yes there not good when there cold but once you psin cause therew cold you warmed them up and they should be good unless your making rediculous power and with no lsd

lol... k, I drive my car every chance I get. Im not gonna risk slicks or even some of the better DR's in the rain because, well i like living. DR's are as good as stock tires huh? No comment. DR's need to be heated, yes but most people dont back out of their driveway and race... gotta drive to where your going and most of the time that drive heats up most DR's enuff. Roll racing is for people who cant drive? WTF lol There are roll race events for people with cars we could never compete with...ever. Case in point:

And yes, street racing is illegal. Dont do it! You will get caught!
