This has it's own MAP because it requires a vac source.

As many of you who have a WB O2 may have noticed, the kit makes boost in part throttle and shows an AFR of 14-15:1 while making 2-3 PSI on the streets. This is a bad scenario for those more spirited drivers who rev her out a bit more then shift. These mere few pounds occur on the streets while being at the nice 20% o throttle position or so, just cruising.

This unit, when used in conjunction with our e-manage tune will provide nearly the same drivability as a stock turbo car.
cant you tune partial throttle with and emanage. i thought all you needed was a pressure sensor

It does not work that well on closed loop partial throttle.

There are no signal outputs for the built in MAP sensor.

It does have a relay based output, to enable a shift light, fuel pump, whatever it may be, based on what variable you tell it to engage at.

Yeah that makes it easy to use an intercooler sprayer, secondary cooling fan system etc.

We're trying to wait just a little bit to give everyone the lowest possible price. We will ship very close to our close of the GB. Units are available sooner if requested at an additional cost.

I believe so and I would think this "should" work well with the ZPI stage 0. I wonder if anyone will try this.

I've got a stage 0 w/ stock injectors and A/T at the moment... I will report on this as soon as I get the EMS installed. I am adding fuel right after I switch to open-loop but it's primarily because the car leans out in part-throttle boost so I have to compensate.

So Joseph, my question was never officially answered. Can this be used without another piggyback in place? I wont be running much boost, but i do still like the thought of running stoich all the time you know?

why would you wanna run stoich all the time? Thats the worst thing you can do for your motor. This device is used to do teh exact opposite. Its used to keep you from running stoich under closed loop...it brings you to a more safe A/F level under partial throttle boost.

Yes you can use it without another box. It will allow you to run for a safe partial throttle tune. As for the full throttle, ZPI states that it runs a safe AFR. I can not vouch for that, and I don't have proof, so I cant guarantee that this unit is all you will need on a stage 0. I can say that for partial throttle, you don't need anything else.
