The HG is a band-aid for using a higher compression piston. --FYI
ok..........Why are you concerned with the HG on an N/A car?
bump....why arent there more than 10 people!?
im surprised a lot of people arent jumping on this, theres more than 10 boosted tcs here. most of the time im not building boost but those times where i feel like going for a spirited run, its running 14.7 in boost. sometimes i want to go fast, but not totally rip it WOT (ie, demolish the tires, lol). this also helps for launching when you need to feather the throttle, as going WOT in first and second is retarded unless you have really good tires.

Well, I was also thinking about the clerance issue. But since I have seen u guys have opened up some motors, I thought u would recommend at least a little more thinner one. Cause u would know the same limit of a thinner gasket. Do you at least know if it would be safe to a certain spec?

As far as the thinner HG goes I do not know what to recommend for what your looking to do. Anything other than stock, if your attempting to go all motor is a band aid. I am not a fan of the HG replacement unless it is required due to your power limits. 75% of the time, stock will be fine. Higher compression pistons are always a better move than the HG scenario.

I know Dezod answers questions -but come on guys stop stop thread jacking already. This is for Dezod EMS black box. It's not about ultra-thin head gaskets or on how or why a turbo works or on any other car rellated questions that have nothing to do with the TOPIC. SEARCH for your answers and/or make a new post with your question.
Just so I don't come off as a richard:
Turbo's do not make any boost unless the throttle is open somewhat tC's cruise on the highway with throttle at close to 19% you will not get any boost with the throttle 19% open, The throttle is the #1 boost regulator...
