Default Engine Assembley Bolt Block to Head

Is it possible to bolt an 06 head to and 08 block? I know the 07 plus have oil squirters and different compression. But can it be done or has any one done this? Thank you

Yes you can do that, just make sure you get the head studs the same year as the block.

Hey Chris, everything is in the car already except the turbo.
motor mounts should arrive monday.
And turbo will get built most likely next week by Dezod so it will be a direct fit to S1 kit and then a week after that when i pay for it they will ship it. My shop will install it and the car is complete.

In few month i will also order AEM EMS.

Ohh and i'm deploying on monday

ohh yeah and that turbo will flow something like 630whp according to Paul, so basically that turbo will be my permanent and then after deployment i will get equall length manifold that would fit that turbo and charge pipes as much as possible and get meth injection....

can you say 20psi race setting and 12 psi daily driver !

yea the head studs differ....just get the head studs for that year block.....the diff between them is how far they thread into the block i believe....so if you get an 08 block....buy the 08 head studs
