Does anyone on this forum have the exact width of the stock exhaust manifold cylinder head-to-header flange. I am trying to have my pop build me a T3 turbo manifold for the TC. Once he has a set CAD image for the manifold he can reproduce many more manifold for other TC owners. He has 30+ years of experience...he's a department head of the welding shop for yachts.

I don't want to pay 40 bucks for a exhaust manifold gasket from Toyota...when I can get a jpeg image, trace it in adobe illustrator and resize in proportion to the exact width.

Can anyone help us out with this??

just unbolt your headers, scan the gasket, reinstall.

 

wouldn't the gasket break if I try to peel it off the cylinder head?? I don't have the mechanical experience to do.

 

no, it will just come off.

 

u wont be peeling it off.. it will just slide right off.. just a thin piece of metal
