Default exhaust with s/c question?

well ive got the s/c waiting to get installed and i was reasearching axle back exhausts, searching the forums and listening to vids. I have run into a few comments that confuse me that basicaly say if you are going fi that you will have to rethink your exhaust. so im wondering if theres something about intalling exhaust with the s/c that i might need to know? I figured that the sound would change some but i realy did not think there would be anything else to consider...
anyway i was looking for an axle back that is on the quieter side, and from what i gather the tanabe seem to fit the description. if anyone has any advice or recomendations for exhast with the s/c or on the diference between the 2 tanabe exhausts or something comparable let me know.

Well my buddy taht has the Apexi with SC has a lot of rasp he also has a lot of volume to his exhaust.

My other buddy that also had tC has the SC with Megan Drift spec and it was loud and although loud was very nice sounding tone wise, was low and deep but some rasp high RPM.

Really it depends on how loud you want to go,what type of sound you like, deep, mid,or ***** out loud.

Those are my only two SC tC exhaust that I have heard in person, the Megan sounds better in my opinion with SC over the Apexi, but also the guy with Apexi has header and the other guy did not,so not quite even field to try form there.

sounds like the s/c will make it significantly louder. I was hoping to keep it on the reasonable side in terms of pure volume, and perferably a deep tone. i might just have to wait and see how it sounds with the s/c with stock exhaust first and go from there.

Well here are some to stay away from with SC if you do not want loud.

GReddy tic..........
HKS High Power
Megan DS
Agency Power
Apexi

There is one good thing to try though,if you leave the silencer in on say the GReddy TIC it is as quiet as the stock can from factory, without silencer it is one of the louder cans out there.

thanks for all the help so far guys. i'm trying to learn all i can.
so from what i gather a silencer or "exhaust baffle" is just an extra piece that simply slides into the back of the exhaust and seems to just be held in by a single screw?
now does this typicaly come with an exhaust or is it an extra buy?(they seem to be realatively cheap by themselves)
and if it is normaly included do the majority of people remove them? or is it really varied?

I have the hks hi-power and then added the s/c. Sounds the same. I would recommend this axle back, it sounds good!
