does it matter ho9netly jon...anywhere from 6-14 on that size of a turbo(70ar) will be too much

a 16g is more comparable to a 45mm 42ar turbo....and the 16g is the only turbo capable of doing 6psi safely on no tune

Yes it does honestly matter so once the piston rings go, as Jon has already said, a mod can change the title of the thread to "What NOT to do" and sticky it.

In fact I think a thread should be started that says, "How to know when you're doing it WRONG"

Because the amount of boost is directly relative to how quickly he will implode. I really hope it's 8.

just my two pennies to op, the reason i dont do the trd flash (btw guys i can flash the stock ecu with the trd flash now, got all the gear to do it) is mostly because of the timeing it pulls. lots of power is lost that way. also the fueling needs are going to be different between systems. you have to consider the trd flash was designed for a specific app, specific air flow, etc.

oh and there isnt a way to flash the ecu back to stock...that means you got to spring for a new ecu if you out grow the flash or return back to stock. Idk if a flashed ecu will run very well on stock injectors (just never tried it).
