Default FMU?

Was just curious to find out if anyone has used one on a tc and will it work?

I havent tried it but theoretically it would work if you converted the OEM returnless to a return fuel system with and rising rate fuel pressure regulator.

Is this a cheap way of running richer without paying for a piggyback / standalone?

That just sounds kind of absurd when you can get piggybacks for a few hundred bucks.

Exactly right - The cost of a FMU + Return fuel conversion would be much greater than just buying injectors and a piggyback. Not to mention ALOT safer.

Yup that's what I thought. Was just curious because I want to install my turbo but still have stock injectors.

Assuming with my EM-Ultimate and stock injectors could get the car to run consistantly with low boost, but probably should play it safe and get injectors first.

You can only make the stock injectors flow so much, how much boost, what turbo are you planning why not play it safe and just upgrade the injectors to 440 with very low boost or something like that?

FMU's are unsafe, if you could get it to work on the tC it would be rich at idle and lean under boost. Honda guys have used them but it pretty much died off when people started chipping the obd1 ecus lol.
