Gas Mileage With Turbo
Turbo's don't have to work very hard to accelerate so you actually use less throttle. It really depends on your driving habits. If you make you engine work hard then your MPG will suffer, if the turbo is making life easier on the engine then MPG will improve, That's what I found. I get about 1-2 miles more per gallon after the turbo, just peanuts when you consider the amount of money that's under the hood now. I average about 22-24 Miles to the gallon in city/highway driving.
Highest mileage i've gotten is 23.3 (to verify I do the math right, I reset the trip meter when I fill up to the brim, and when I get gas, fill to the brim again, take the miles driven and divide by the gallons put in)
I'm with thisdude, I drive like i'm in nascar (after my baby's warmed up, mind you). I'm sure that has no adverse affect.

With a full tank of gas, how many miles can you go before the gas light come on?
I get around 260 miles mostly freeway. Thanks.

also, you gotta take into account terrain, climate, driving conditions, a/c, driving with the windows and sun roof open, shift points.
i talked to somebody at zpi about it a while ago. he told me that several customers with their turbo kits get better mileage, especially when tuning off the greddy pressure sensor.
here is my theory. when your driving an n/a tc, it takes you so much time to reach whatever rpm you upshift at, but with a turbo, since it can revv upfaster, you spend less time be building up power before you upshift, so the car can get up to cruising speed faster using less gas because of the power from boosting? just a theory of mine i came up with late at night.

I got very close to that before I went turbo. Not too far off now. I dont see how these people only get 240 mpt with na motors. I think my worst tank of gas was around 240 and I was boosting like crazy.
