all iv ever used was crush gaskets in those spots...I take that back i have used a copper gasket on the downpipe before (downpipe to turbine). single layer crush gaskets have been fairly good to me as long as I didnt try to reuse them.

oh and yes the gasket set I posted has a mls mani gasket in it. so is the head gasket.

Okay, thanks Crush. I guess I'll just stick with the SS or copper crush type and re-torque after a day or so.
