after watching the dynos of the tc, all you hear is the sound of the turbo spooling up gradually.

Depends on the size shot... I've seen dynos of 50-75 wet shots that doesn't make the car sound all that different, especially when the button is hit early in the dyno.

^ brett,

thats true i didnt consider that and i couldnt veiw the vid at work..

you usually will also see a large jump in the graph even with a gradual spray..

but the difference between wet and dry i dont know much about in terms of veiwing a video and being able to tell..

but ill take b's word for it.

Yeah I agree on Hondas.. but you're talking about a car that makes very distinct changes in exhaust tone when Vtec kicks in too.

I must admit my experience wasn't with Scions, but I've personally seen smooth NOS transition on DSMs and Audis.

last time i saw a nitrous pull in person was a 75 shot on a ford focus. the difference in sound was very distinct. im almost positive that the tc was not spraying. in my opinion its one of 2 things.

1. the dyno calibration was not set correctly.

2. the boost was alot higher than 12.5 psi. (why have a fully built motor and only run such low boost?)

Agreed. Only reason I suggest NOS is it was the ONLY other thing I could think of while giving the OP the benefit of the doubt.

^^that still wouldnt give the op benifit of the doubt because he failed to mention it with his numbers..

"oh my bad i forgot to mention i had a 50 shot with those humbers"

doesnt go in my book.

in the end it comes down to not needing to lie and providing a boost flow chart to say "doubt all you want the sheet dont lie, a**hole."

I am not here to defend my self at all as these numbers ARE TRUE. Believe it or not it doesnt change the fact that the car makes the Horse power stated. Would you guys like to see a dyno sheet with out anything writen on it?? I have that too which comes out to 411.5WHP and 419,9 WTQ. Honestly I dont care what CFM my turbo flows or how efficent my setup is or isnt. Because I do and it is very efficent. Sorr but those 60-1 turbos arent efficent at all on this motor. I have years of research on this setup so What ever you want to say is fine Haters are fans too.

Java I caused lots of rukus over there on clubsciontc hmm wierd you agreed with me saying that the people on there had to get thicker skin. I know what I know and what I know is that this car is producing over 400WHP.

homie. i agreed with you and havent bashed you once my point i made was purely about it not being cool if someone not jsut you even if it may or may not be the case to say oh yeah my bad i had nitrous..

folks here are just doing the math and trying to figure it out.. if you made 426whp on that build others will also want numbers like that.

in the end like i said i dont doubt you, something is just not adding up.

there are a lot more people on this site with extensive force induction knowledge with the tc thus the reason i come here.

carbon
b real
brett

know their ____ so i come on here as they know much more than i.

dont take too much offense.. it is. afterall.. the internet..

I agree it is the internet and I too know my ____. My setup is very efficent. No Nitrous I dont believe in it. I talked to my tuner last night and he looked up the map My timming is advanced (I told B_real last night I was sure but I thought it was pulled). the fact is 12.5PSI T3/T4 .60 trim compressor and .63 A/R stage 3 turbine. As for CFM how are you calculating that??? when you dont know anything more about my turbo???

Un modified with a pen (which was for easy reading) dyno sheet.

The writing on the other one is because the program wont allow you to correct whats on the page. Thats all. so my Hp at 50 MPH isnt 12 as it says. Everything was setup by me and Check by my instructor. Who was trained by a Mustang Dyno representitive.

I can't see the dyno.. It's a red X. Both here and on CSTC.

i dont think theres any spray involved.. ive raced next to a few tcs spraying on me and even on the stock exhaust and 75 shot you could clearly hear a change in the tone.

I do agree with Breal and Carbon.. there are alot of factors here that dont ad up.... even with a your upgraded head with your basic valve job there cannot be enought air passing through it to gain such a large increase even under boost(based on my built head which carries the same specs as portflows tc head)....

not calling anyone a liar.. but mathematically speaking... something is askew...

nice numbers.. no hate... just very curious...
