Default Internal to external wastegate on a big 16g

so i got screwed when i bought i used kit and the turbo blew and when i sent it to get rebuilt they told me its a Chinese knock off so im looking at real Mitsubishi 16g but they are all internal wastegated.... how would i change it to an external?

you can buy a new turbo and see if your current exhaust housing will fit on the new turbo. make sure you take it to an expert before you just throw it on your car. the housing might need to be shaved some.

haha ok but i dont know anyone around me that would go near a turbo but i just bought an evo III from forced performance

That should work. i had an evo III gt 16g or whatever that chinacharger is called and it blew on me. so i picked up a real MHI Evo III and just had to clock it and it fit nicely.

haha i hate clocking and where would i find the fitting that goes into the turbo for the oil feed line
