ANYTHING will work with enough money and a good welder look at Ken Gushi's car and Tanner Faust's car. a V-8 push rod motor? c'mon now. supra rear end to get it to work.
Just like they said it can be done with enough money. Alomost anything can be done by modified, fabricated, or fitted. Just depends on how far you are willing to invest.
Hey guys, time for an update !
Well the turbo has been pretty much selected !
I have a choice of Comp Turbo or Precision Turbo.
I'm leaning towards Precision turbo.
here are the basic specs:
60 trim
Stage 5 wheel
63 AR.
Now my question is is 63 A/R is a good choice or should i go with something larger ?
My need are as follows.
I need a turbo that would produce power from around 3500rpm all the way up to 7K rpm redline.
i will run the turbo at 400whp for now, but i do NOT want to use 100% of its resources, i want to use 70% so it wont wear out too quick and i would still have more room for higher HP if i ever need.
So what do you guys think on my choice ?
According to Paul that precision turbo will be good for 585-600hp( Paul is refering to precision website) and same kind of turbo but built by Comp Turbo is rated up to 500whp on comp website.
So i'm honestly not sure how exact same specs but dfferent brands rated at different HP ?

go .83 a/r it will help free up some heat while boosted.. you are built so dont go too shy of turbo size. 0.83 shouldnt be much too laggy.. what are the other specs on the turbo?
pretty much...it also depends on the wheels as well and exhoust flow...in this case i would think it would gain alittle more hp on the top end. The turbo you have chosen sounds like a real rounded turbo for your goals...id stick with it and give it a try, later on you can maybe see about getting a different turbin housing as well as pnp the head for more flow...with that you may not see as much lag if at all...im just guessing on that though.

Perfect turbo for you...
great price,
its what i made 362 at 14psi with! spooled o so great!
Garrett T3/60-1 .63a/r this is the one you suggesting Elevation ?
Price is $685 and is not a direct fit.
The price of a turbo i'm getting is
Precision turbo:
Turbine coating is 2K Jet hot black is $125.00
Polished comp housing is $85.00
Turbo is $715.00
And thats from Dezod. Hopefully Paul takes care of shipping.
I mean the price for the turbo is pretty good considering its got stage 5 comp wheel and a direct fit to dezods S1 kit as i dont wanna touch the chargepipes and manifold for now.
As far as the Polished housing thats strictly for looks and i'm not planning to change this turbo anytime soon thats why i want a powerful turbo that will fit my needs for a few years.
and jet hot coating is for some reason expensive everywhere but Paul is giving me discounts on all of those items, so i think i'm getting a pretty good deal.
