is flywheel needed for the clutch or not ? i was looking at CC staqge 5 clutch , but sprung or un-sprung ? and whats the difference between them ?

iv never had an unsprung but i hear its alot harsher engagment and its harsh on the tranny...youd prolly want an unsprung if you where to get into some serious raceing

got ya.. well i'll let you know then when i'll be going there and if going to WA state is towards houston then we'll ride in a 2 car convoy, lol
Well harsch , how much ? like have to push with 2 feet ? lol.. obviously anyone will prefer lighter pedal.
so sprung will have better feel , but will it perform same as unsprung ? if unsprung has more wear on tranny means it will brake faster ?

Ok guys purchased a core today for $575 and it was shipped off to ERL.
From ERL i will have "street" block built.
with Wiseco 9.0:1 pistons, K1 rods, stock sleeves, ACL bearings etc.
Block should be at ERL by the end of next week 2 weeks to build it and another week for me to get it back. Hopefully by mid june i should have it installed.
