hey guys i got few questions i asked on previous page..
my 550 cc injectors are good for what power ?
also with new short block, which stud should i change to ARP ?
i know headstuds as advised by my shop, but what else ?
also to support around 400WHP will standard dezod FMIC do it ?
or should i just stop at 350-370

idk...i would think that either stick with 550cc but run higher fuel pressure (return system w/ walbro fuel pump and fpr)
or upgrade to 750cc injectors...i would think that would work but ther is a specific formula for finding out...

return system with walbro at the moment not worth it for me because i'm deploying to Iraq in september and this would be too much stuff to put in the car and not play with it , lol
i'm thinking about dewtsch 700cc injectors.
or i'm thinking to just install what i'm getting and tune it for 350 on high since block will hold it now and call it quits 'till i come back.
Chris do you know about studs and stuff ? what to change ? headstuds and ....? or is it needed other then what i listed ?

i spoke to ERL and Sean was looking in the catalog and couldnt find the headbolts by ARP. By i found them on Dezod website.
I'm just thinking that i will definately get heaadbolts and cometic headgasket.
Just dont know what else or what other bolts need to be changed.
Actually ERL they dont build heads, nor am i interested in it at this time. Next year i will get Dezod built head and BC stage cams for forced induction.

yeah there is no way to find out...
my guess is that rod ws weakened before i got properly tuned as i damaged it. and it was a matter of time 'till it would happen.

It takes some good force or detonation throw a rod through the block so my guess is that the car detonated... a weak rod without detonation most like will get bent first and some knocking/grinding or weird engine noise will be noticed before the motor completely goes so my guess is that a knock have trigger that..just my opinion though
yeah just the stock clutch... 300ish hp i recommend some stage 4. 91 could be contribute too but cant blame it totally on that, it could be a lil bit of everything plus combination of badluck
Also i came up with new plan for getting the car to WA state. Instead of driving i'm probably going to transport it. yes i know its going to cost me money, BUT i dont wanna break down in the middle of nowhere.
So i will probably put the car on the truck right after its built and checked for everything. the once i get it in WA i'll break the engine in and then tune it.

yeha man and plus to it i'm saving the car from additional 2000 miles.
I spoke to my shop today and they said because my engine will be out its going to be easy and wont cost much to install the clutch.
Also thinking whil doing the clutch if i have the money i'll get flywheel as well.
i assume 2-3 hours of work with engine being out already ?
