Got ya Paul..well then i guess the only sure thing to guarantee fitment is to weld my own mani or upgrade my turbo to V-band... but i love my turbo it's brand new and i think flows pretty good... would loose money if i sell it now. Sucks that it can not be upgraded to V-band housing, i wish i knew that ahead of time i would have selected a turbo upgradable to V-band.

Small trade-off IMO for the larger picture of a better turbo, bigger turbo, no gasket leaking, broken bolts, stripped threads etc....

More like $2.500 trade off, lol...
But i see your point Paul, it would be nice if i was driving my car more then 4 weeks a year, lol...
Deployments and not i decided to keep my car in NY instead of taking it to WA. In WA i'll just lease something affordable to drive to work that way i'll keep the miles off my tC and have a car in NY that i can enjoy AND keeping it close to a great tuner. Unlike in WA i personally have no idea who can tune Hydra EMS. I'm sure i can find peopple who tune, but the question is how good are they ? Vinny specialty is Hydra therefore i have no doubt he knows it more then most tuners. IMHO

Car is back at Vinny's shop.
took of my cracked manifold, radiator, hoses, fans and informed me that my manifold is cracked all the way around on one of the runners. We are thinking that rewelding it and using it even with flex pipe will be a matter of time before it crack's again.

so sad now Emailed Paul maybe he can help me out with a new manifold...will update ...

No spring bolt's were used that time as i personally was not aware and didn't expect it to crack within 3K miles on the kit. ( Kit was installed in Texas )

Now ofcourse we are welding in flex pipe to prevent future crack's. But i don't want to ride with re-welded manifold because as far as i know it will never be as strong as originally welded one.

I really want EL manifold but don't want to change all the charge pipes and DP and SP around at the moment as i'm pretty happy with the performance of the car i just don't like that it's cracked and don't want it to crack again.

All right guys, just got an email back from Paul,
He's getting a new manifold out to me for a pretty good price. Brand new, they do have lifetime warranty on it against cracking and this time it WILL be installed correctly with a felx and spring bolt's so we shall see no more cracking.

decided to go with drop-in manifold so i don't have to shell out $1000 for manifold/down pipe/s pipe combo and dont have to pay to make new charge pipes.

this makes me a sad panda. i know its the sensible choice. but such a motor should be made to shine with a nice el manifold. although this would give us some more info on how awesome a s1 kit can be with the proper supporting mods.

Thanks Chris,
Yeah for now i think it will work.
Vinny also told that there is a hole in one of the charge pipes ! he said it's the one coming off a turbo i have no idea how that can possibly happen, but i guess we are goingto have to weld it as well...

Definately upgrading to EL manifold/3" D and S pipes in the future and to 3" intake pipe.

How much PSI do you guys think my intercooler can effectively work at ?

I don't have meth injection and i'm not looking to run it so i'm not sure in the intercooler i have is big enough for 20 psi.

and i'm running 38mm wastegate, how would i know if i need to run larger WG ? What are the sighns/faotrs ?

Ace yes i know but i picked the route for now that will be much simplier overall and less demanding $$$ for now.

I've decided to design my own manifold and try to make one, i have a small factory at my fingertips back in NY ofourse with welding stations and CAD programmers so i think i can make one... Decided to step away from all the companies and if i'll have a good "Houston, we are in the air" i will sell my Dezod turbo kit and upgrade to my own kit and put my name on it !

Game-over: Thanks bud, but i already have everything planned out and if everything works i will tell you how i got my stuff, lol... (No it's not Yonaka)
