Default K0rupt's Progress over this year

So put the turbo kit on last dec..( got it used of this site and half the stuff was blown, Broken, or Nig regd) so iv had to dump alot of money into it just to repair or buy new stuff that i should have gotten with the kit. Here some before and after pics

Heres the turbo that came in the kit that "had no shaft play" Even tho i could move it up and down and side to side by about half an inch. it was totally blown and next to it is my new one i had to buy

------------------------------

New stuff after i blew my head gasket head all built up better braided cooling water and oil lines and a new custom IC pipe going from the top of turbo to passenger side IC entrance

Some cool T fittings so the oil flows to the turbo right when i turn the key on

Does the 16g or 20g really HAVE to be water cooled? I know plenty of people with zpi kit just running them oil cooled.

YES!
Thats why the turbo i got in my kit was so jacked up. He was only oil cooling it. it was so messed up the shop i took it to has nvr seen a turbo that bad. But why not run water lines and oil? all its going to do it lengthen the life of ur turbo and heat is cars enemy so any little thing helps

I only ran 1 With -6AN steel braided lines last year. And when i went to add 2 more on i couldn't get the other 2 ports out of the turbo they have to be seized but i would.

I also live in Arizona so for summer i wanted to dump as much water as i could. But the research iv been doing turbos are cooled more by oil then by water. But i if u go to my progress build pics of this year and see my turbo in the first pic on the right that what happens when u don't run water.the case turned brown it over heated like crazy.

Thats why i want to do an oil cooler for my turbo cus the oil does most of the cooling
