i installed my 550's a while back and now when i hit cruise control it runs rich as poop....im tuning off emanage...not sure wth is goin on...

 

running emanage blue? if so it doesnt tune partial throttle so ur partial throttle or cruising AFR's are gonna be weird.

My Afr's weren't weird during cruise control. 14.8-15.2.

 

im running the open loop 3 mode.....so yea i guess that answers my question....since theres no feedback from the o2 to the ecu it doesnt know what to do about cruise control since the emanage has no control over that....bah....rhythm im still workin on how to set up the knock sensor on our cars.....its hard as fooey....i think its around 6.5 hrz but i dont know if its resonant or non resonant

its non resonant......resonant knock sensors screw directly into the block.....non resonant are kinda like a brakeline....have a stud goin through the middle with a nut on the end. we have the same knock sensors as the 02+ celica gts.....there frequency is at 7.1hrz...but im still trying to figure ours out.......they have had success with it logging knock but i dont think the ultimate will automatically tune it....im going to a friends shop today to see if they have an oscilliscope or something to detect knock.....also....anyone have any emanage ultimate maps that are stock? i wanna see what timing they are datalogging.

 

i think you just need to tune your cruise area on the ultimate.. By the way, are you guys installing an aftermarket knock sensor or just tapping the stock one to the ultimate

 

im trying to work out a way to tap the stock one in our ultimate
