W0Wz3R5!!! You Beat an Evo from a 60 roll! Not hard to do. If you do a roll race on an Evo or STi you'll win everytime DUH

Roll Race = G4y!

Anyways, dont even bother racing a LT-1 w/ your S/C tC. You'll be wasting your time and gas.
Nobody said I was going to try and race a LT1 or LS1 Camaro. I know what they are capable of. Also, why exactly is racing from a roll ___, when your racing on a track isnt the whole thing just one big race from a roll "top end"?

Oh man what did I start...

Guys it's okay to be scared of an Econo box/ toaster... Just beware of the next one you roll up on at a light... because were coming to get you....

What I would like to know is why would you come on to a Forum and ask if this could beat this.. Because in a race.. there could be a hundred different scenarios that could change the outcome of it.. Just flipping race and find the answer out first hand.. if you lose you lose, but I bet you will keep trying to beat them in one way or another.. But you never know until you try...

As for the fake vid.. Im sure ZPI has nothing better to do than to make fake vids to promote kits.

ZPI officially fueled by Hateraid.....

the LT1 stock is pre-98 and has stock 275 hp and weighs more than the tC, i personally keep up already/ little bit ahead of the LT1 until 4th in my car and even then the LT1 doesnt zoom past me, my buddys prelude with a 15 sec 1/4 mile spanks LT1's up and down, so seeing as to how the SC tC runs 15's i would believe that would do it

Wow, what a thread.

I don't think there is one SC'ed tC on this board that could take out a LT1 or an EVO.

Anyone running better then a 14.3 yet?

It's hard to say. A 350Z can walk an LT1, but the Z's average times in Stock trim is 13.9-14.1. The S/C tC that ran a 14.3 would be sticking right next to me on the strip with my Z. I got 3 runs in, with the last run being a 14.2. I think that the lack of "showing" in the S/C's performance has been from the element of Drivers with the S/C. Hate to say it, but you guys are just not driving her like she should be driven. N/A'ed tC's with I/H/E combo's are putting down the same time as guys with S/C's.. With the most part of them being anywhere from 14.8 - 15 flat.

HAHAHA FIrst thing you have said that I agree with hahaha. And yes, I plan to break a 14.3 VERY soon. Mabey this Friday night if the track is open. Have to get in a run before the install the rest of the system. Only thing against me is the new 13" wilwood kit and the fact that I will still be on 18's with not so hot tires. But I think I can do it. Car feels killer. I hope to hit close to a 14.0 and god willing a 13.9xxx

Why not put your stockers back on. Tires suck, but I bet with some decent driving you could still turn out better times than a set of 18's.

Not sure if they will clear the brakes, Will have to see if they will fit... Think the spokes will hit the calipers face...

He took it like a champ though. We had to pull over when it first started to rain, as I had his jacket in the trunk of the Z, and the rain was pelting his arms....LOL. Bet it felt like hundreds of Bee's stinging your body all over.

OMG! You should have seen this other dude though. He was on a hog with nothing more than a pair of sunglasses and a headband. Dude was taking it like a champ, I bet his face was stinging. He had a permanent smile on his face as the rain pelted him.... Yet he was still rolling. You Jest, do you remember passing that dude?

Like I said, I beat one...but from a roll, where more factors come into the mix. He's going to be experiencing turbo lag, unless brake boosting, untill he gets up to speed. But yes I know from a dead stop he would have ate me up.

rhythmnsmoke: The only answer I have for you Travis is try to find a s/c tC then drive a tC with I/H/E and you will see the difference. I had I/H/E then droped the Intake and added the S/C and Pulley that is one hell of a difference now let me tell you. Never hit the track with my I/H/E set-up but I can assure you with the I/H/E it's nowhere near as quick as with Super/H/E/Pulley. But I havent hit the track yet, So I can't post any times. Will be hitting the track when my Bracket is fixed though.

Judging by different track times, it is pretty close from a stop.. Of course the car with a $3,000 SC added on is going to be faster but throw a $500 50-75 shot on the tC and the SC'ed tC would get smoked.

A good driver would leave you from a roll too.. They're low 13 second cars with a MUCH higher trap speed then any SC'ed tC. There is close to a full second difference here.

I'm not trying to start a big fight here but your car is not as fast as an EVO (8 or 9).

A stock EVO and a turbo tC should be pretty close, but a SC'ed tC is going to get beat.

It was a honest to god straight up 60mph roll and I beat him up untill our 127mph gov, by one car. But, like I said (and he knows) from a dead stop I wouldnt have the slightest chance in the world of beating him. He's in my car club, and believe me he wants a rematch, dead stop and another roll.
