see what ya can do other wise talk to Todd about getting that gold foil...im not saying the heat from the mani will deff harm the hood but i really wouldnt take any chances...those hoods are expensive..

iv been thinking of making a custom heat shield that will bolt on to a factory hood....after seeing carlos's insulation getting scorched i came up with the idea, ill test it out on his ride if i can get a chance.

whats the loudest BOV that will fit my simple kit? hks ssvq or w/e?

 

"fit" is dependent on what flange you get. I think todd offers type rs and ssqv

 

mine is comeing with the bosch bov

 

idk what kinda flange that is...lol

the type rs i think is a two bolt oblong kinda flange and the hks uses a round flange with a lip for a snap ring to fit inside and hold the bov down.

 

does it matter what kinda a pillar i buy? ebay? has the triple slot A pillar for 30$ would be about the only thing i would buy from ebay lol

 

before you do let me get back to ya...ill try and find one that fits almost perfectly and matches the color

this is the one i got...not bad for the price either...it looks pretty good too....not a 100% color match but pretty close i think.

 

a bosch BPV only needs a open piece of pipe, like the breather port on the valve cover, on both the upper charge pipe and the turbo inlet pipe
