Default Misfiring w/ FIC

Recently bought an AEM FIC for my turbonetics setup. Took it into the tuner the other day to get tuned and Im having the mis-firing problem. At about 3k rpm its stuttering / jerking pretty hard. My tuner couldnt finish the tune because of this problem . So after doing some research, I found the "resistor fix". I did it, and its still doing the same thing. Looking at the forums on the aem site, I saw not only the Cam1MagI (+/-) but the CrankMagI (+/-) was done also with another 2k resistor. So I did that signal also and still pretty much the same. Its gotten a little bit better where its not jerking as hard but not tunable. Anyone know what else can be done?

I bought my FIC in 07 and it used a regular USB. Did they change that?

Yes the original firmware of 104 is what will stop the misfiring.

Crush / Paul .... you guys were right. I was running 1.07..... no good. Re-flashed the FIC with z104 and everything is working out. The tune will be finished tomorrow, and I should be good to go. Thanks for the help guys.

Im surprised this problem isnt a little more well documented..... on this site and the AEM site.
