nope....didnt work travis. keeps telling me it cant find the driver once i plug the ultimate into the laptop.

 

^^Umm...and what brand laptop is it? Sounds like it shouldn't matter, but some searches did turn up with people having problem with a particular brand laptop. I was using Vista on a Toshiba. You said you had a burnt disc though right? Is it a direct copy from an OEM disc? I kid you not, mine works.

 

i also have a toshiba laptop....and yes it is a direct copy......i might just order a replacement but ive never been able to get it to work with vista. what update are you using? 2.20?

 

Atleast it's not the emu circuit board losing parts! LOL

I remember when the ultimate first came out, Greddy had a problem where some of the chips or pieces came desoldered from the circuit board.

 

are they still bankrupt or did they settle all that?

 

The parent company Trust filed and is back to normal...so to speak

what do you mean? my laptop is windows vista and works perfect. or did i miss something?

Uuummm on my. Vista there were some functions that didn't work for me like Map trace and something else but it did connect. Plus the program would freeze on me. So I just went back to xp.

 

I installed 1.14 from the disc (still connects and finds EMU unit with 1.14), and then I updated to 2.20.

Everything works (map trace, data logging..etc).
