Uumm I dunno all I know they said it was fine. Just that it jumps timing when started and dies. It's getting to much fuel they said.

isnt 150 a bit on the low side? idk what pistons he is using though or all the other details.

mine was 150 as well crush.....remember its a new motor so the piston rings havent been seated.

urs was 150 before u fixed ur cam that was off!

minor thread jack- when the shop did the compression check on my car they said it was 210 in all cylinders. thats higher then i have heard from anyone?

it's a timing/sensor problem, theres no reason mechanically that a brand new eng woudln't run, even oil tolerances being off would run.....albiet blow right after but it would run!

and even it being sensors, you ave to have like....cam+crank+maf+o2+a bunch more dead to bring hte motor to a halt. and i doubt you have that many dead

that depends how many crnk overs they did... as long as all 4 are with in the same 10 +/- its fine...

not true.. over tqing the main bolts for the crank will allow it to be very difficult to turn over causing some friction for the crank to turn... its nothing new to happen but it does happen... (ive had to fix things like that before on motors my friends have built that i wasnt there to supervise.

hey dave.. one of the last motors we did a test for dialed in at 190 all the way across.. so no frets lol

stage 4 clutch+speedsource motor mounts+no balance shafts= an interesting and rough drive.....haha....now i just need to adjust my clutch pedal....it releases like an inch off the floor.

haha ya it is a interesting drive.. my car feels like a race car LOL! and that clutch engages like a _____! but now i got a twin disc :D
