yeah true that but you would rarely ever find a muscle car that is a 4 banger though... they're usually v6 or v8 or so on.
Its harder for us to match their hp with a little bit of mods and upgrades like how they do but at the same time thats why we call it project cars. its interesting and fun for us and we can actually say that we did this and that to get where are at and get major props for our hard effort.
unlike muscle, for example the shelby gt cobras come s/c with like 300+ hp stock. we're at 163 (guesstimating). all they gotta do is change that pulley and their exhaust system and re-tune and dyno and they could call it done. lol
well thats what i think cause i work at a auto shop where they build race/drift cars (on the side ) while everyone else repairs and paint customer's cars. everyone there basically has muscle. some people give me crap for my 4 banger but i dont care, its my car not theres...

I've been MIA for a while. Update I have removed the turbo and intercooler so I can access the throttle body lines and heater hoses. I am going to delete the throttle body lines and use them for the turbo. I bought new hose and heat shielding for the turbo coolant lines. I am getting new heater hoses from the dealer (should have them hopefully Friday or at the latest next week. I am replacing exhaust manifold gasket, got Samco Sport radiator hoses and new TRD supercharger thermostat and gasket to install. Then I will reassembly everything. If all goes well I will hopefully be retuning within a month.

Hot start issue is fixed!

Replaced ignition coils and boom works great now. I had a new cam and crank sensor at home so I changed them, I did measure the resistance cold and hot, crank sensor was out of spec so it was good that its changed. Now I am researching a bigger fuel pump to put in it so I can turn up the boost even more.

Ok. Someone told me he had a Bosch 044 and E85 ate it. I'm wondering if it was a knock off, there are lots out there.

Fixed my idle thanks to a tip from a friend. I soldered a 1.5k ohm resister inline on the tach signal going to the ecu. Now Idles 800-900, 750 with ac on.
