NEED HElP IDLE PROBS
i have a 2009 scion tc with a greedy turbo kit at 6 psi, i recently did an oil change and was in the process of putting in bigger injectors when i was having problems with them leaking because they were not seated properly, when i finally got them in and went to start the car, before the care fired up there was a pop and then the car started and now it is idling rough and kind of sounds like a wrx. at times when it is cold on start up the check engine light will blink and then idle even more rough. i checked all of the plugs and they are ok with no oil on the tips, i am getting no smoke out of the tail pipe and all of the fluid levels remain the same.
Are you saying you installed larger injectors, but did not tune the engine management for them? If thats the case, that is the cause of most if not all of these issues (def the misfire). The ECU/Piggyback must be rescaled for the larger injectors, than tuned properly.
reset the ecu, make sure they are seated properly, if your close to your tuner drive it but stay out of boost your gonna be running really rich, and get it retuned for the bigger injectors. should be a quick retune
the only other thing that comes to mind is that mixing up the injector clips would cause the Subi effect. thats happened to me on a completely different car though. but thats highly unlikely considering those clips have no room for error. just my .02
I had the same loud pop and horrible idle. Go buy 4 new seals. My local shop told me to put some oil on the new ones and set them in the hole on the intake manifold then set the injector in them. If you put the seal on the injector and then put it on this will cause you to tear up the seal and you will lose it.
ok ill try that, do i put the injectors into the fuel rail first and then into the intake manifold or the manifold and then the fuel rail on top of that? and also now after doing this when i step on the gas the car wants to stall and the cel light blinks did that happen to you as well?

What are you running for Engine management?
Did you retune after the injector swap?
What size injectors did you have? What size injectors do you have now?
