this one is from an 05-06 tc (should say like)...notice the black box i was talking about...think about it like this..they moved the black box further away from the tb and "glued" it to the mani in a sense.

I havnt seen a third type yet but ill keep my eyes peeled.

Why they changed it is beyond me but it may help prevent water spray and vapor getting in and causing corrosion inside the tb.
so in short its not a vac line, just a vent.

Hmmmm thanks for the help but that kind of stinks in regards to my idea....:?
