why do you think you know everything? Theres no downside to getting 1000s. Just leaves more room for the future.

Yes I was just going to mention that the downside of using 1000cc injectors is if you're not on a standalone, it'll be pretty hard to have good low throttle response, idle, and tip in.

Quoted for truth.. I was going to respond with this, but i wanted to wait to see why he said you should use them for only 400whp.

Its not that i try to know everything, but many of us on scionlife have been through these issues ourselves or shared our issues and came up with solutions to get past these!Im Sure you a good guy doing great things. But many people here have been through hell and back figuring things out the hard way being pioneers and we speak from exprerience! ( to trd07)

Thanks rob for pointing this out though

I really don't want to go with injectors that big unless I absolutely have to. Without a return I won't be able to utilize injectors that big, and without a stand alone idle problems are a serious gamble.

Noted, I appreciate it. I'll have to look into that since someone decided to jew me on the turbo I had my eye on

Ive had tons of different setups/parts/tunes on my car for the past 3 years dealing with turbo on the tC. I speak from expierence.

Descendants 1000s are high impedence. Tuning part throttle and idle shouldnt be a problem at all. You might have an idle around 1k rpm

You think hes really gonna make 400 and be happy.. everyone always wants more. You have A LOT of room with a 1000 injector

If you had a return setup I would say get a 700 or 850 and give it a little extra base pressure if you needed it

If it was up to me I would have put 1600cc and e85 and called it a day. But I'm not on a standalone so FML! Lol

You cant raise idle on a piggyback

You meant idle, Mike!

Yeah - he's not understanding that OP has a piggyback.

The only e85 that I know of is far as f' from here, otherwise I've considered it.

Thanks....

I know the 1000s are high impendance they offer.. But on oem fuel pressure 1000s spray pattern would be horrible and offer a horrible idle! And not so good tip in!

IMO id rather see the OP go with 550s and fuel return

No, damn it all, I don't want to have to do a fuel return.

Prophecy - a return setup is probably one of the best investments you can make - next to a standalone.
