I'll try to get some dyno runs when I get the exhaust put on. I have a Megan header, Invidia s-pipe, custom 2.5" midpipe with hi-flow cat and resonator, and the Magnaflow cat-back right now.

ok, im confused. this is the normal 3" spipe back right? whats the difference between the turbo back and this? and if im getting MMW header, how would i install it exactly because this is spipe back? or would it be better to just get a dif. header?

the turboback has the downpipe connected to it, we just have the s-pipe... and they also did this test with stock headers...

You know how cat-back exhausts start right after the catalytic converter, but doesn't replace the catalytic converter...

This is the "Turbo-back" exhaust (includes s-pipe all the way back), just renamed "header-back" and used in a supercharged application. They do offer the s-pipe back version (starting where the stock s-pipe ends all the way back).

Can you put the 3" Ptuning catback on an N/A car? What will that do to the car performance wise and sound wise

You can put the header-back or s-pipe back system on an N/A car, but wouldn't recommend it. You wouldn't be pushing the same rate or amount of exhaust out as an F/I application, so exhaust flow will be slower. This has a negative effect on exhaust scavenging. You would almost be better with an open exhaust rather than 3".

The s-pipe back system should work for you since it's designed to be able to mount up to the stock s-pipe. The MMW header/s-pipe is designed to work with the stock exhaust, so it should mate up to the s-pipe back exhaust. I'm not sure the Ptuning s-pipe would fit the MMW header.

wait. now im confused.
the exhaust system is like this, right?

Header - S-pipe - Midpipe piece 1 - Midpipe piece 2 - Axleback

thats how i always thought it was? so waht would be a catback, spipe back, or header back?

Header-back replaces everything but the header.

S-pipe back replaces everything but the header and s-pipe.

Cat-back leaves the header, s-pipe, and the catalytic converter alone and replaces everything else. It would require cutting the stock exhaust right after catalytic converter and clamping or welding the new midpipe to the stock one.

never knew that. so with the ptuning catback, i would have to go to a shop and have them install it? sorry for all the questions, ive only dealt with a axleback.
