That's Exactly what I figured. Just their website says "includes all the high-end competition engine components used in our Spec-A block, but without sleeving the block" I figured I'd just ask to make sure.

they prob offer both. the k1s are your normal 400 horse build rods and manley make your higher hp rods. If you are going high hp then i would sleeve it also ... But, for most people the basic rebuild you are looking like is perfect (and not so basic when it comes down to it).

I definitely am going for high numbers which is why I'm going with the Spec-A block by late summer. I was just asking out of curiosity. I definitely want the manley rods in my engine as well as sleeving it. Not to mention the Spec-A block is Race Proven. If it's good enough for Ptuning's time attack winning car....it's good enough for my car

oohhhh! cams and new head coming soon?!! you guys never cease to amaze me!
are you guys going to offer a full complete long block? or hell even a turn key package with ems fueling and turbo
that would be amazing and probably help alot of people getting eveything they need at once instead of sections..

hehe - without a question. Spend the money .... get people whos calling in life was to build/rebuild engines .... have them built it .... give you a perfect output .... and you bolt it on. Good job. You are going for a real high hp mark and for people reading this, that is not the norm. You take their basic rebuild package and that will be MORE enough enough for most people. Ide love to get my engine rebuilt one day and bump the redline up and run 14lbs. Just keep in mind that you want you car to drive well also. Eventually I will be happy with a higher redline and a 380whp tC. Its all about how much fun it is to drive the car (for me) ...not the peak hp. When you have enough power to pull out of those lagged moments ... and have the boost kick in and you run through 3rd and 4th, it all makes it worth it.
