Default PTUNING: Competition Return-Style Fuel System

Just wanted to give everyone and idea of what our competition fuel system will look like, since we've been getting a lot of inquiries about the fuel system used on our PTUNING tC. Here's some CAD drawings of what we've been working on. This is based off the same fuel system that we've been using on our TA championship tC. Track-tested and dyno proven to handle 600whp and upgradeable to handle 1000whp. We'll provide more details shortly. Here's the design of our Billet fuel rail with the new Fuelab 545-series FPR. The lightweight and compact 545 series FPR is a new, soon-to-be release design from Fuelab that we've encorporated into our fuel rail assembly and available in our exclusive PTUNING Red/Black color scheme.

Sadly I've already bought a GE rail, Fuelab fpr(gold/black), walbro 255 pump.

I like how the fuelab reg mounts right up to the rail. Look clean.

Looks like a 8an feed and 6an return?

We are working on finishing up the final pieces required for the two fuel systems that we will be offering. We know what changes are needed to properly fuel a boosted street or high powered race tC. We will try our best to make these parts available to you guys as soon as we can. We'll be sure to update this thread too with more pics as soon as possible.

Good stuff, I have first hand experience on how long it takes and how difficult it is to get custom parts made. Props for making things for the community!

Yes Dave, the in-tank version of our return-style fuel system should solve the fueling issues that we were seeing with your particular tC. After dyno tuning several boosted tC's (FICs and Greddy EMU's) after yours, I'm pretty confident that the fueling issues that we had with your tC were related to plain mechanical fuel delivery rather than any piggyback electronics issues. I definitely want to get your car back on our dyno for the free re-tune that I promised you, however, I want to make sure that we have a solution for your first before we have you make the long trip back to our facility. I will let you know as soon as the fuel system is complete so that we can schedule something for you.

Thanks, it's always good to know that others can appreciate the amount of R&D time and funding required to bring a good product to market.
