The factory MAF sensor has a built in air temp sensor that will compensate for any temperature changes. So no, what you heard is absolutely not true. Our CAI will only help to increase overall VE with the cooler air charge. If you start with cooler going into the turbo compressor inlet you will inevitably get cooler air leaving the compressor outlet. This is most noticeable during stop and go driving.
Here is an example:
The turbocharged S2000 guys running under hood air filters have noticed significant heat soak during stop and go driving (basically, the car makes less power when getting on boost after being stuck in traffic, or sitting on the line at the drag strip). So when it came time for me to build my turbocharged S2000, I implemented a CAI Airbox that totally eliminated any of the heat soak issues that other owners were experiencing. I was pretty much able to run back to back to back 125mph trap speeds (full weight car with only a preliminary pump gas tune) runs down the drag strip in 95+ degree heat.
Anyhow, when it came time to build our PTUNING tC SS-Turbo System, we felt that a CAI design was the way to go.
To answer your question about tuning your EMU equipped turbo kit, yes I can tune it.

By your setup, I mean the tC kit, not your S2K.

A few on these boards have the kit installed already, not sure how many have ordered/shipped. They don't really have many of their 'own' parts, aside the turbo/meth/exhaust, but I can assure you that thousands have ordered things from them. I personally drove about 9 hours, round trip, to get tuned and have my clutch/flywheel/motor mounts installed and I've been more than satisfied with the work. Which is the reason why I've convinced multiple people to make that same trip, and which is why all those people are happy with the work they received.
Same place I would like to put mine. Behind the passenger seat.
