Clearly you've missed a bunch of my posts. I have the Descendant kit on my car, I have since May & I love it. I don't have access to the dyno sheet right now as it's in the possession of World-Racing at the moment but I'm making ~250hp on 5 psi & I'm an automatic.

Pic when it was completely fresh & only ran for like 5 mins:

so the reason for this thread... TWAN and CHRIS basically sold me on their shop and there parts, but thats their job.
i was hoping the product and end result will sell itself.
so any comments, experiences, pics, dyno sheets, videos, what ever....

Pronouced like Twan, but spelled Toan.

What you fail to realize by that comment is that PTuning's kit was R&D using a Race Track season. The difference between their Street kit and their Time Attack tC is essentially a few pipe changes and a different turbo (which you can get also).

There is no question of testability or reliability like other kits out there, why...because other turbo kit producers (aside from World Racing), use customers as a grounds for testing. Sure they tested their kits on a tC for daily use for a little while before releasing it. But no one (other than WR) produces a kit that has sustained the rigors of Full OUT track abuse.

Dezod is currently developing the Alpha kit which will be pretty sick. I voted for Dezod but Ptuning would definitely get my second vote. HAHA I have no idea why Greddy is on the poll.

orrr its the fact people respect a kit that was designed on the race track and brought to us!

+1 on that Mike. Seriously....voting for someone because they are "Thinking" of doing something? Alpha kit....when will that come out, when the new ECU does? I'll be waiting and watching...and even then....PTuning still #1.

amazing how clean!
That's not one of their kits yet. That's Toan's personal car. But yes, they are all about quality, cleanliness, and perfect fitment. If you really want to see how obsessed they are with presentation, you should watch them race. In between every race session, they detail the car again. This past race in Englishtown, they were clay barring it after it came back into the pits lol.

What do you mean voting for someone because they are thinking of doing something? I voted for Dezod because of there broad range of knowledge and they make quality parts. There turbo setups have been proven to make power as well. I know there Alpha kit will be promising, just like all there other products. Like I said before, I only felt that SOME people who know little to nothing about turbos jump on the band wagon and are blind followers. 35 plus people voted for ptuning yet like I said less then 25 people commented in this thread. Dont get me wrong, I believe Ptuning is an incredible company as well and they make awesome products. But if I was to buy a kit right now, I would go with Dezod because of there long line of options.

This thread is going absolutely nowhere.

What it does show is Descendant's welcome to the ring, PTUNING's ability to decisively sway the Scion community and Dezod's commitment to serving the Scion community.

Like I said if I had to do it all over again I would go with PTUNING over Dezod and it isn't anything Dezod did "wrong" but more so the expandability alreay in place with the PTUNING kit. I would not have to go out and upgrade the turbo, get a different BOV, go to a blow-thru MAF setup, get a water and oil cooled turbo, all those ar ein place already with the PTUNING kit. Sure Dezod offers upgrades but after the upgrades are all said and done I would have been better off with the PTUNING kit.

That being said I never plan on racing my car, never plan on going to the track, never plan on attempting to launch the car, never plan on fully rebuilding the motor etc. so the Dezod S1 was a good selection for me and my goals. I wanted a DD with reliable power and their kit has given me just that.

I have been to PTUNING and they have an immaculate shop, simply gorgeous, my apartment didn't even look that clean. They have access to a wide range of things. Not to mention their pricing is fair, competitive and less than some BS shops in GA.

I believe this entire "best" conversation is a ____ing competition. Some will say it matters more on the track, that is one place I can care less than the bee I smashed against the window yesterday about. It does not matter.

The fact is you cannot go wrong with any of the aforementioned kits, PTUNING, Dezod or Descendant. In the end, out the box, the kits all produce around the same hp so let it end there.
