Just curious as to what A/R the turbo compressor was? Just trying to get more of a grasp on comparing it to other kits. So far the only variables from my kit I see, are the: manifold, 3" DP, and MAF setup.

.82 A/R hotside, .60 A/R compressor. If we went with a .63 A/R hotside, the spoolup and torque will build up quicker, but it will run out of steam on the top end for higher boost and higher hp levels. There's more than enough low-end torque at the current level for any FWD street car--especially on street tires.

x2.. i never noticed a tc shake like that on cut off maybe they bounced the rev limiter? looks like he needs a motor mount..

but really nice numbers! and i didnt know dynapack reads higher than dynojet.

It's called stock motor mounts. Even though that car has a ingalls engine damper, it just goes to show you how useless the damper is. We'll be working on a upgraded motor mounts to address the excessive engine torqueing issues with the tC motor.

Since our turbo kit makes power all the way to redline, the only way to get an accurate dyno reading is to take the motor off the rev limiter (that's what it's ultimately there for).

Basically: 300+WHP -> rev limiter -> fuel cut = crazy motor shake.

Yeah, the tC motor has ridiculously soft motor mounts. Motor mounts are definitely on the list of mods for this car.

The BOV part of the vid should probably have been left out. The reason for this is because we needed to take the car off the rev limiter. By doing this, there is no simultaneous intercooler pipe boost/ engine manifold vacuum to quickly open the valve.

This is the same reason why you do not hear the BOV venting with any noise. Next time we get the car on the dyno, I'll be sure to let off the throttle while the engine is still in boost. What you see there is the engine doing a coast down from redline, in gear, with the throttle closed. What the BOV is doing there is normal, given the circumstances.
