Putting my motor together tommrow.. DONE STARTED :_)
Horrible mistake in Las Vegas, SEMA show time, went to Studio 54 in MGM. There was a line forever long to get in, we figured it was slamming. We stood in line for an hour, got in to discover it was mostly SHOCKING and people who also liked different things than Chris and myself. SCARY!!!!!
lol next time lemme know, lines don't exist for me
-slide your driver seat back
-take off the kick panel on the clutch area right next to the dead pedal
-take out the spring that hooks onto the clutch pedal and the clutch pedal assembly
- Get a 12mm open wrench and look for the locking nut on the gold push rod that sits directly behind a large cyclinder right on the clutch pedal.. you cant miss it
-loosen the 12mm locking nut
-one the nut is loose, turn the rod to the drivers side to shorten the engagment point or loosen the nut all the way towards the fire wall (it will stop half way) and you can use the nut to turn the rod in the other direction (clockwise) and that will rasie the engagement point
-!! do small turns in small incriments.. start with 1/4 to half turns...
-once u have turned the rod retighten the lock nut and put the car in first and reverse to check your engagement point.. .
-depending on where you want it (most ppl suggest middle of the clutch throw) you can go back down and turn it either to the counter clock wise to lower the point of engagement or clock wise to raise the point of engagement.
it will take you a few times of playing around with it but eventually you will find a spot thats comfortable for you and easy for you to drive....
once your satisfied with the engagement point.. secure the locking nut and make sure its tight (dont over tighten)... then put back the spring on the pedal and on the assembly, and reinstall the kick panel.. vuala.. you done.
