Default question.

i forget what post i read on here, but it involved something with the shaft warping due to excess heat from the header.

is this true? and if it is is there any way get around that?

The engine flanges of the turbo manifold can warp if the head nuts are not kept at the correct torque. The nuts loosen up and you get an exhaust leak and then the flanges can warp if not fixed quickly.

I've not heard of any (turbo) shaft damage.

Ahhhhhh.. I see. That I have no idea about.. But I have an answer to the heat.. Ceramic coating for your header. We can coat just about anything.. Give us a call for a quote.
