Default quick question about negative cable

my engine is all back in for the most part and i cant for the life of me remember where the negative battery cable goes on the side opposite of the battery. there is a small black wire going under the battery tray to the chassis and a larger orange one i cant remember.

then of course the terminal going the battery.

or maybe i just shouldn't be assembling a tC after 12 hours working in the sun

One goes to the chassis - the other goes to the motor/tranny - i know theres a specific bolt - but to be hoenst it doesnt matter it just needs to be grounded to the motor/tranny somewhere.

I thought that too, I had it in one hole to the right of where it was supposed to go and the car wouldnt start for anything, removed the starter and popped it over one whole and it fired right up...odd.

either way it runs like a champ!
