How do I find out if I have the updated bracket on my TRD supercharger?
tC 2006, purchased s/c in Feb. 07

thanks tikbhoy, but my bracket isn't borken or anything, I just wanted to know if there is anyway of knowing if I have the updated one? If you have the updated one... can you post a pic?

mine was the original one but i never got it to compare with the new ones, im sure a lil help from a local mig/tig welder can re enforce it.

it depends on the kit's part #. if you bought the kit with the lower price, it already has the stronger bracket, if you bought the one with the $3200 msrp, it has the crappy one. the dealer needs to get a warranty repair order on this so you can get the stronger one. it'll be free, but that's more or less how you know which you have.

To really see if you have the old or new bracket .... you will have to hold a broken one up to the one u have and see if its beef'd up - the new ones are reinforced a tad more. I bet you could call TRD and give them the # and they can just tell you what you have.
