s/c tC and Cobalt SS underrated?
I have the s/c tC and it dynoed at 192whp and 172wtq
this is equal to about 225hp and 200 ft/lbs
The Cobalt SS was rated at 205hp and about 200 ft/lbs.
I read another forum and apparenly the stock Cobalt SS was vastly undserrated
It dynoed at 217whp and 185 wtq
this is about 255hp and 217 ft/lbs
Are these Cobalt SS dyno results accurate?

The orginal statement from TRD was the supercharger will produce 215-225hp. Right before its release, to my understanding, they played it down a little and said 200hp. I'm not really sure which one is correct, can you provide a dyno sheet run to prove you have 192whp? I'm not saying are lying, infact you are probably not. But too many people here post numbers that we later find out were false.. Its a good idea anyway, more bragging rights for you!
As far as being slower, well you should have bought the zpi turbo instead. Jk, but seriously, its TRD. You had to expect that.

Have you not seen the thread in power hungry?
Its called "supercharger update, pics, vids, dynos"
somethin like that. You can't miss it. All he has done to his car is the trd exhasut that we all know provides no power. Those number were on a pretty much stock tC.
as a matter of fact here is the link https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=87809
go to page 3 for a pic of the dyno sheet.

i dont know why everyone is hating the cobalt.
The car is refined and its a very fun car to drive, and its faster than the tC.
its not nearly as refined as the tC, but no american made economy car is nearly as refined as any japanese car

Here are some fun facts for you kiddies.
The cobalt has issues with the ecm and is moody. They run good, then they do not then the next day they do.
Also it uses an eaton supercharger. While they work well for oem I have personally found them to be quite problematic especially running more psi than a stock 7-8 psi setup. How do I know this? I have receipts for 3 new eaton m62 superchargers that I could only get to last for 30K miles each before they started sounding like a spoon in a blender and then seizing totally. That was at 14 psi. At the stock boost level they usually last 60-70K miles tops before a rebuild is required. They are a good blower and when setup properly "most oem's do not even come close to getting it right" they provide instant boost that accounts for wicked throttle responce. Makes cars properly equipped VERY fun to drive.
The votech is more suited to higher revving engines and engines with a focus on the mid to top end of the powerband. TRD made a very wise choice with this blower.
Also the eaton supercharger is very easily head soaked for it's massive aluminum body and when a vehicle equiped with an eaton heats up underhood then performance usually drop off by a noticable amount.
Last bitc* of the eaton is the way 99% of the oem sets them up, they are very very difficult to intercool because they are usually attached directly to the intake plenum. You can use water injection on them like I used to but it was a total pain in the **** filling up the tank all the time and performance was still somewhat inconsistant.
Us trd sc guys are very lucky trd chose the vortech. They are easy to intercool and the sc has MASSIVE potential to turn your tc into a 300+whp rocket.
