Just got my Modified Mag in the mail today and I did a double take when I saw this on the cover, "UNREAL: Turbo & Supercharged Scion tC" I didn't know you could do both

This guy has a TRD S/C along with a HKS GT40 Turbo. Looks pretty nice, just wanted to have a thread to discuss it. Anyone else see this yet? It's the Dec. issue.

 

that has been around for a long time. it is really just a show car with no performance benifits from both the turbo and super charger. the turbo actually hits full boost before the supercharger does. it is pretty much all show, and no additional go that isn't already matched by a turbo charged tc already.

Waste... People are making over 300 with turbos alone.... save the other $1900 and do something useful... like get a decent clutch.

 

Yeah I got that issue. They are even using a Hydra standalone and they only make 271? I'm making 340 at 10 psi on stock motor. You'd think they could pump out a few more. I'd like to see what it could do with a built motor with the twin charge setup.
