It has nothing to do with the release date of the 2007 s/c. The new Exhaust Manifold design is what the hold up is about. But not to fear...it's on its way sooner than you think, ive already seen the parts catalog with 2007 S/C available winter.

no, the 2007 dont have them yet cause of all the little changes they made to the engine/exhaust manifold/MAF/ECU. the current S/C just would not fit and work right with the car.

OH Hey guys. Forgot to say, I got my car back after a week. The dealer gave me a free rental for the time they had my car. They ordereda brand new supercharger and just replaced the whole blower cause of the oil leak. I had them put in 10w40 Castrol Syntec Oil as well since this was reccomended. Car runs good, has a lil bit pausing when i start it up ( I assume cuase of il weight) but over all runs good with no oil leak so far.

yup - trd never changed the part. They are waiting for everybody with the s/c to break them and go in for a replacement over and over. Its going to happen. My car was never abused and mine broke .... I feel very sorry for the majority of people that arent reading this form and have no clue that they prob. have a broken mount.

Is there still no plans for a aftermarket solution for this bracket? If so I will offer the first bracket free if I can get a good bracket sent to me.

Already in the works. RippMods is fabing one out of billet as we speak. They're going to use it on mine, and if all goes well (no fitment issues, etc) they will make more. No word on price yet.

Well I can top all of you guys, I checked tonight and BOTH mounts were broken which means the supercharger was supported by nothing more than the one mount on the other side and now the shaft seems to be leaking oil. I ordered the mount from sparks today so I'm going to put that on and HOPEFULLY the leak will go away (the oil looked old anyway so it might not be a problem, hopefully)

Oh and the other mount just broke off either yesterday or today so I didn't drive around with it for a prolonged period of time

Ugh. Yeah, I'd be really careful with it until you can get that bracket on....

I'll follow up with Ripp on the billet one he's fabricating. It's at his machine shop.

Could the broken mounts have anything to do with the "torque twist" (my own term) of the belt bringing the shaft up to speed?
