Just a heads up for you guys (one more thing to pay attention to) One of three "TRD supplied 6x1.0x16mm SHCS" bolts holding on the intake housing on the S/C came off. Ya know, the part with the arrow pointing to the bolt, one of those came off and I now only have 2 holding them on.

^^how does that happen? Bad install is all I can think of. It was never torqued properly and vibrated out.

Tough luck. Get another one and put it in there.

Yup, bad install is all I can think also. I have already made a Autozone trip and it's now replaced. They didnt have any allens though, but I got the exact fit bolt/washer for it.

Problem Fixed

Yes but you should ceramic coat it (like jet-hot) because the heat will affect the SC

Yea, but it's pretty loud/raspy, if you don't mind the sound then it's all good. It only gets loud really in the upper RPM range. Street driving it's still pretty mello.

Ok so my bracket is getting fixed on Wed, but I got a funny story for you guys. My uncle called to order the bracket and they wouldnt let him get just the bracket so he had to order a new S/C. So the new s/c was ordered under waranty and I now have 2 S/C and 1 broken bracket. The second S/C is going on my bros tC though.

So.... the 2nd one's going in without a bracket? Or is it an auto with the fit kit?

I can't believe they didn't let you order the bracket itself. Try talking to another dealership or someone like trdsparks directly.

If it's covered under warranty, i'd say you got a good deal if they let you keep the bad SC. Usually under warranty they don't let you keep the defective parts

Well it's just the bracket that's bad.

But, my s/c has been making a weird noise on and off the last couple days, and I found a very little bit of oil on the Extended drive pulley system. If you have ever had a car with a crank pulley driven cooling fan, you know how when you rev it you hear the fan incease speed...that's what it sounds like. But it doesnt always make the noise?

WHATS UP GUYS, ANY HELP??? ^^^

WOW, My cousin said my supercharger was making weird noises too yesterday. I let him use my car to go to the store to pick some food. He said he open my hood and try to find out where the noise was coming from but he said was kind of hard because the engine was running. I told him i will check it out in the morning.

Not at all. But I did take a look at where my seal is, those two pieces are not properly level what so ever. There is a mm gap diff when it comes to height.

Mine isnt leaking oil actually, I just found a dry spot of dirty oil on the botom of one of the seals. But yea, sound wise, mine sounds like a electric fan/whiney, but not so much actually whining.
