Default slim fan's

well im haveing a lil problem with my car.. when i turn it off it want's to overheat unless i leave the key turned over for the fan to run.. i just put a oem radiator in because i got a hole in my other one. Don't know if there is air in the sytem ive let it run for 20 min with a/c on hot with rad cap off. only 1 of my fan's work, so i was wanting to know will the mishimoto slim fan's work on stock radiator? i might just redo the whole cooling system

was this going on before the radiator change? by changing fans you may not be solving the problem itself.

Thats not how you bleed the scion tc....

To bleed. Start the car make sure radiator is full. Let the car warm up to full temp. make sure radiator cap is working properly and is tight. turn the heat on hot and full blower.

On the right side of radiator is bleeder. ITS A white ***. Slowly turn this open untill air/coolant comes out.. Let this bleed of untill no air is comming out.. sometimes takes 5-10 min..

let cool down check coolant level..

refill if needed and recheck.

so only one fan turned on? did you check the fuses or maybe the fan motor got burned or something? try to make it idle with ac on cool and see if both fans turns on like it should.. also where did you mount your fans, front of ac condenser or at the back of the radiator? remember the front mounted fans doesnt work as good as the stock location.. Also make sure your fans are blowing or pulling air on the right direction.. you turbo isnt water cooled right? it shouldnt overheat as much as a water turbo.. also clearance from your turbo to radiator will give extra heat on your system, shouldnt cause overheating though when everything else is working

oh you mishimoto rad has a hole? try to contact them if you are still in warranty, they will send you a new one just take some pics and the copy of receipt from the vendor.

the mish shroud was really designed to pull more air but it may help blocking heat from the turbo.. are you using the oem fan shroud?
