^^ wait, how do you use OEM fans AND OEN shroud on the mishimoto fan/shroud kit?? Doesn't that just means its OEM? Or are you just talking about the mishimoto radiator?

 

I use oem fans in the oem shroud on the mishimoto radiator.

 

I am vice-versa. I use OEM radiator and Mishi fans and shroud

 

The OEM fans are badass - i wanted to use them.. only "con" is they're bulky.

 

yeah, i'm going at a snails pace finishing my custom kit, but i just got a bench grinder so i'm just gonna modify the OEM setup so that it'll work. I've got urethane motor mounts, so when i get my downpipe fabbed up at the exhaust shop, i'll just have installed there. That way, the turbo shouldn't rock into the fan blades.

 

The stockers sure can move some air but the Mishi's I've got never let the temps go any higher than OEM yet. If they do, they'll be in the scrap heap but it looks as though the shroud really makes a difference.
