Default So close but so far at the same time!

SO I might getting thios job soon where I can get a turbonetics kit at cost problem is I have an 07 and the unichip won't work on my car because the ecu harness changed. DO you think I should still order itand just buy an e-manage and sell the unichip. Or someone tell me i'm nuts for trying to turbo my everyday driver that only has 2500 miles on it. I was think supercharger but if i can get a turbo system for say 2500 bucks it would stupid to get a s/c even though you still have a warranty.

... the Unichip ought to work. I think Dezod carries the 07 P&P harness. I'd be more worried about adapting your MAF. That's a cut and weld project away though.

The maf wouldn't be such a big deal as my neighbor is a professional welder so he'd do it for free. The unichip as i understand is designed to plug into the 05-06 ecu could I then just buy the 07 pnp harness anad adpat that to the unichp will it work then?

Hah. I just remembered the Emanage harness and the Unichip harness aren't the same. In that case, unless you can do it yourself, you may have to have someone run the wires for you. Selling the tuned unichip and springing for an Emanage seems a little excessive to me.

Any one else got an idea I mean It wouldn't be a problem to splice in the unichip and get the maf to fit. Another thing is i'm not sure if i want to turbo my only car that i still owe on.

Hey man, just remember youre taking a risk with putting on a turbo-kit on this car, especially since you arent putting on 07 kit on it. And unless you have the money to buy a new engine, i would be careful.

Dezod has a turbo kit for the 07's and a PnP harness for the 07 ecu is included in the kit:
