i support paul all the way but im just shocked that 1 week without spring bolts can cause this..? someone should design a bracket that goes underneath to hold the turbo up or something anyway

I am shocked it even lasted a week! There are TONS of thrust loads between engine rocking in the mounts, bumps, pot holes, the weight of the turbo, the swaying of the exhaust. There where 100s of different forces twisting, pulling, vertically, horizontally to break that manifold.

Wow can you be any more ignorant!
I have experience with all three companies and would go back to Ptuning and Dezod any day over TT. I have very bad experience with TT. I would rather personally drive to Dezod and Ptuning from California then ever do business with TT again. How much experience do you have with these companies? I am guessing less than 2k with all.

haha mom post FTW!! its ok if she does that often, at least he support his sons hobby..

I didnt remember running those bolts springs or donut gasket for like 8 months and had like 12K miles on the car.. i didnt have issues with the manifold but i did notice a growing exhaust leak on my vband dp/spipe connection then i found out after awhile that my vband flange on my dp was slightly bent and doesnt line up well with the spipe, i have to change the clamp too.. thats prolly where the shock is being absorbed

come on now theres no who's better or whatever. each company has there own way of making parts. if everyone was the same there will be no business. everyone has there own opinion to there choice of company. i personally dealt with dezod and p-tuning and both have great customer service and great for the scion community.

That still isn't good; the point should be to education the entire community and if there are those out there that do not have the springs and bolts the idea would be to get them installed. Not to find people that have done it the wrong way whether something has happened to their setups or not. Lets just do it right, learn and move on.

and oh i also got into an accident with a huge rock hitting right on front part of my downpipe where it make the 90deg bend towards the spipe... it created a good dent and it scraped/stripped away my vband clamp from my dp/spipe connection.. i was lucky all i had was a bent downpipe and a lost clamp.. this thing happening over a week is unfortunate though even with some grade A material..

I have a TT v2.1 tubular manifold.. im not saying my manifold is stronger just sharing my story of luck lol.. since I bought my mani, I have accepted that it is more prone failure than a log.. thats why i eventually redid my piping and placed a flex joint.. i was happy though it withstand some abuse and didnt fail back when my setup wasnt safe and when i had the accident
