I have experience with all three companies and would go back to Ptuning and Dezod any day over TT. I have very bad experience with TT. I would rather personally drive to Dezod and Ptuning from California then ever do business with TT again. How much experience do you have with these companies? I am guessing less than 2k with all.

ma flex pipe

this is what i got

i asked paul @ dezod about the flex joint, he said just using the spring bolts will be fine and not to waste my time getting the flex joint. Althought the flex join + spring bolts would probably be the safest possible thing.

Thats why I went with a treadstone CAST IRON manifold. Stainless steal SUCKS it will crack no matter what kind you use. Sorry to hear about it but all I can say your arent the only one with Dezod manifold problems.

ok so he still agreed with ptuning, yeah volume etc etc. but there's enough TT kits out there for atleast ONE of the mani's to fail, yet still hasn't. 2 for soflo and even bluetc said he's seen it before.

The main comment I would like to say about this thread...and that you have gone through 2 dezod mani's.... and the comments that more people have problems with them. Well, I think that Paul is a good guy and sells quality parts...but sometimes S*** happens.... and the higher numbers might not mean that dezod parts are more prone to going bad...but the numbers just appear to be higher b/c a lot of people purchase from them.... just my 2 cents.

not trying to start an argument so please dont take this wrong, im just throwing this out there.
iv seen more TT threads with peeps showing off their TT gear more than anyother....we tend to start more threads and then proceed to jack em...lol...so if their was a mani issue you bet your ars it would be posted exp if it looked liked soflo's

This is not boost related but relates to cracks on manifolds, I had a Alphawerks header on my car when I was N/A. The support tabs that bolt the bottom of the header to the block support was broke when I got it so I took it to a welder and had them re weld these tabs back on. After racing my car at the track I guess it was too much strain on the tabs and the welds broke causing the header to twist (no spring bolts or flex pipe used) and tear a massive hole in the bottom of the collector. I am having the shop building my setup make a custom bracket for everything using these support brackets on the block or using the bolt holes on the block.
soo i already got the mani rewelded... put a stock gasket on and guess what, NO MORE gasket leak... :O the copper one started leaking after 1 night of street tuning and the stock one is holding up, putting the spring bolts in 2morrow, also we found a massive vacuum leak lmao.. a hose that was going to nothing.. i think i was using it for the black box but forgot to take it off when i got the ultimate and tossed the blue, fixing the leak and vacuum leak all the sudden my car hit 20 lbs we were like wtf lol, turned it down to 18, still on ____ty stock spark plugs :X and their fouled as ____.. putting in step 1's 2morrow aswell :D ya this really wasnt such a big deal i think i just reacted accordingly because this car never seems to go the way we want.
