Spd_Rcr Getting A Make Over! (Username change mmmpshh) Might be making a comeback..
Also, what you have to remember is the earlier she comes on, the less top end you will have. There has to be some give and take. So, in my professional opinion, where peak boost is at 4K is ideal. Then, you have a 7K redline and 3K RPMS of mid-range and power.

Spool time is contingent upon a lot of variables including the tune. Our S1 and the Alpha 30R have near identical spool properties.

Yea, looks like im jus gonna have to take it one step at a time and raise the rev limiter, everyone is telling me that the 4k spool time is not gonna matter with 7-7500 rpm rev
I found this on alot of the manufacturer's website referring to gapping iridum plugs...
Install note: The iridium center electrode is very thin. Unlike a conventional plug, you cannot gap the plug by sandwiching a gap tool between the electrode and the ground strap, then pushing on the ground strap. The hard electrode will dig into the gap tool, and when you remove the gap tool, you'll break the electrode. Instead, adjust the ground strap by tapping it on a hard surface, or by pulling it gently with a tool; then measure the gap using your gap tool. Updated 6/24/02

you guys know the hole in the back of the gap tool is there for a reason right you arent supposed to press on the electrode you place the hole over the electrode and pry up.
Now on the APR X1, my spool time is much more consistent, predictable, and faster. Last night, when I was paying attention I was easily making a full 8lbs of boost at 3.5k rpm
This is on a near completely stock Dezod S1 kit.
It's not. Believe me. When you are rolling in 3rd, how often are you below 3K and need to punch it? Almost never. If you do, don't worry, the power will be there.
